Journal Entry— The Biopsy Is Scheduled

Well, Lord, the radiologist said she needs to biopsy not only the lump I found but another smaller legion that appeared on the ultrasound. The biopsy is scheduled for next Monday at 12:15pm.

“My times are in your hands.” - Psalm 31:15

Lord, I fear for how this will affect the kids if the diagnosis is not favorable. I do not fear for my life necessarily or fear the pain and difficulty of recovery. I fear for my kids and for the weight of the responsibility of walking them down a path like this. Of giving them hope and stability… giving them you, the Rock, when the earth quakes all around us.
